PC spec to run HomeSec

In order to be able to run HomeSec, your PC must meet the minimum rquirements, as listed below:

Computer

32 bit processor, Pentium 3 equivalent or later.

(If you have a 64 bit processor then go to the Microsoft web site and download the 64 bit version of the .net Framework and SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. If this works, you should then be able to download and run HomeSec)

500MHz minimum, 1GHz or higher recommended.

192 MB RAM, 512MB recommended (plus additional space for data storage)..

Up to 635 MB free disc space on C: drive (605MB for Windows Vista).

Monitor

1024 x 768 or above recommended

Operating system

Windows XP (Home or Professional Edition) Service Pack 2 or
Windows Vista

Microsoft Internet Explorer v6 Service Pack 1 or later.

User account status

All users require Administrator privileges on the PC in use.
